Standard vs Ext. Travel coilovers on daily driver?

I'm looking into purchasing some 2.5" coilovers (Icon or Radflo).

For daily driving, will there be a noticeable difference in street handling between the Standard and Ext Travel and if so, what to expect?

I guess what I'm looking for is pros and cons. I'm sure someone here has had experience with both.

They will perform exactly the same on the street. You would only notice the extended travel when the "extra" extra travel is needed.

However, you will only be able to use the extra travel if you have aftermerket UCA's. If you have the stock UCA's they will be the limiting factor in your travel, before the shock reaches it's limit.

That being said they will look identical from the outside. The extended travel shocks simply have one less shim inside. However, it does make a difference of a few inches in the amount of overall articulation you have available (provided you have aftermarket UCA's)

Since they are the same price, if you have or ever anticipate getting aftermarket UCA's, go ahead and get the extended travel. Most likely you'll want the UCA's anyway after lifting because at least some alignment problems will creep in, particularly with caster. You'll find that at highway speeds your 'runner will wander much more than at stock height, unless you get the aftermarket UCA's.

Will defiantly purchase with either Icon Tubular or Total Chaos UCA and I'm guessing that extended brake lines will be needed.

Unless you go over 3" you won't need extended brake lines.
