Good morning all, so I have recently puchased a 01' SR5 and I couldn't be happier. Mileage is a little high at 160K but it looks/runs/drives like it's almost new. (I'll post a couple intro pics when I can) So far I'm sticking to preventive maint. stuff. This is what I've done so far...
NGK Plugs and Wires. -Installing today after work.
New Battery. -Only thing bad from the get go.
Top off fluids for now until I can do drains and or flushes.
Plan to do:
Trans cooler or new radiator. I don't know which yet.
Coolant change.
Oil change.
Trans flush. It looks a little dirty. Shifts fine though.
Change fluid in diffs. Amsoil or Lucas probably.
Transfer case drain and fill. Also it's a little wet. No drips or anything though. New seals.
So my question is are there any other good preventive maintenece things that you guys are aware of that I should do before getting into mods or upgrades? I'm glad to have found this forum and have huge admiration for all of the posts and advice you have to offer. Nice to meet you all.
