Starter replacement with TRD headers?

My starter bit the dust and needs replacing. What should be a fairly easy job is complicated by the headers in resting in place of stock manifolds, rendering the starter completely caged in.

It appears my only options are:

A) remove the header to access/replace starter through the wheel well

or

B) remove the axle to access/replace starter from below.

Does anyone have experience navigating this repair with headers?

Holy headers batman!

I think you might end up being a trail blazer on this one. You could also try to get at it from below by removing the crossmember. The engine doesn't mount to it so you should be ok but make sure other thing aren't resting on it.

When you do get it out I’d look for a heat shield for it with the headers so close.
