Starting issue

Ok, this is going to sound a little weird. I've tried to describe it to the Toyota Tech but he just looked at me funny.

For the past month I would say I can start my 4runner fine in the morning and throughout the day. But sometimes when starting it, it tries to turn over but cant. I turn the truck off and try again but this time I pump the gas twice and it starts.

Now, it doesn't do it all the time but lately it seems like its happening more and more. I'm full injected so I shouldn't have to pump the gas twice.

Example - One day it started fine in the morning drove it to work. Left work it started fine, even stopped to pick up my son and it was fine as well. Meet my BF at the dog part shuts off but coming back to start it, it does that stupid chugging noise again like its died. Pump the gas twice & it starts.

Anyone have a similar problem?

I haven't had this problem but the only thing I can think of that might be related is if you have a problem with your throttle body.... Might be worth seeing if you have a deposit build up inside and/or check to see if everything moves freely.... A good throttle body cleaning wouldn't hurt no matter what....
