Rundown of runner:

This truck was bought through our salvage yard. It came in with a bad motor and a recently replaced/reman Jasper transmission. To my knowledge it was bone stock. We had an engine that ran good so we put it in. Only problem is that it has 200k on it. Basically just driving it till it fails then taking time to find a low milage engine. I found a slightly used K&N off craigs and got it shipped for $120. Had my windowns tinted 35% yesterday.

After debating for over 2 months on the type and size of lift options. I went with the least expensive option available to me. We had a set of TRD Coils/Billies that will be going up front along with a 1" toplate spacer. For the rear, I went with 890s and billies. My lift should arrive friday and I will probably begin putting it in next monday. I also purchased a rear diff drop.
Now Im just trying to figure out wheel and tire size. I really want a big wheel and agressive tire. Something similar to the white runner. Which i believe are 17"s

Welcome man :)

I would change the radiator or get a trans cool asap. Also put your city in your signature or profile. You never know who might live nearby.

I have 265x75x16 tires and wheels. Stick with a 16" wheel because 17" tires are very expensive and there is no practical benefit. The tires I run are about a 31.5" tire. If you go a lot bigger you will notice a performance loss due to the larger tires but they will look very cool

thanks brian,

Im starting to lean towards the 16s now. Is there a common problem with the radiators? and tra cooling?

The transmission coolers are built into the radiators and with rust, coorosion, and time the 2 can mix causing what is known as "pink milkshake." this is catastrophic to your transmission. Installing an aftermarket tranny cooler bypasses the one built into the radiator and a new radiator eleminates any coorosion that may exist in your 200k 4runner. Basically it is very cheap insurance. Spend 50-120 bucks now and save yourself a couple thousand on a new transmission down the road.

Where would you recommend me to get them from?

You had to ask.

I PERSONALLY (This is ONLY MY OPINION, you do what you do, but watch my shoes) think those wheels are heinous. I do not like them one bit. What is the point of that chrome/silver chunk? All black my man. Allll black.

I like the all black too. Do you have a specific wheel in mind?

This is just my 2...not a fan my man. To each his own though. It is your truck so do what you like with it. If it were me...Pro Comp 8069's or Cragar Soft 8's. All black and tough.

If you put them wheels on your truck, you will get $hit from us...just sayin'.
