Static Electric Shocks -- Trail Edition

I don't think it's my electric personality, my Trail Edition is causing static electric shocks. When I jump out of the truck to pick up the mail, often I can see an arc of electricity jumping from my key to the box. Quite impressive to see a four inch arc but I'm not enjoying the shocks. It must be the seat material on the Trail that's causing it. I've never had a vehicle do this before.

Sounds like you need a couple of them there rubber grounding straps like they used to hang off bumpers back in the '80's...
