Yeah, I know.... my wife's TL has one. But I had no idea that my 4R has one too. I'm sure my oil change guy has no idea too... yikes.

It's probably stuck on tight on the oil pan. It took some effort to get the washer off on the first oil change.

Generally, you should change the filter with every oil change. There's no sense in running clean oil through a dirty filter (with a little dirty oil in it).

I bought one years ago (it's the older model) and it's the best thing I've gotten. No more getting under the truck, no oil pan, no more mess. This thing sucks the oil out of the crankcase, you replace your own oil and filter and you're done. That's it.

Best $40 I've spent.
