Steel Rims on a 2003 Sport

Has anyone found a set of steel wheels that do not interfere with the larger Sport brake calipers (without shaving the calipers or the wheels)?

I'd like to get a set of blacked out rims for offroading (without spending too much). All of the posts about putting steelies on a 4th Gen Sport complained about the rims rubbing on the caliper. Anyone find one that fits? I plan on sticking with the stock 17" size. I guess some type of spacer would be an option, but I would like to avoid that if possible,

what size wheels are the guys that complain about them rubbing running? i am going to assume it is a problem of backspacing/off set they are having rather than the wheels being made of steel.

in my experience with other vehicles steel wheels will actually clear the brakes better than comparable aluminum wheels, since aluminum wheels tend to be thicker.

I've seen a couple of posts floating around. The ones below is the only two I could find off hand. Maybe this is only a problem with 16" steelies? But the issue is not the diameter of the wheel. The calipers apparently rub because of the way the back of the steel rims are shaped (not because of the diameter).
