Steering Gear box rebuild?

Guts are good but seals are shot. Its leaking all over my driveway and making my recently cleaned engine bay/undercarriage a mess. Is this something I can tackle in the garage or best left to the pros? Special tools (brass O-ring pullers)? Any help is appreciated.

208$ at RockAuto Auto Parts if you dont want to spend the time. it all depends on what you feel like if 200$ is worth just a bolt and unbolt replacement then buy a remanned other wise rebuilding is a great way to learn something new and get something fixed but if you screw up you may need to buy a new one anyway.

i would go this route.
theres a good chance there is play in that box anyway.

for the price, i wouldnt waste my time trying to reseal it.

Truck has 300k, not sure about the gear box. Its not puking, just leaking from the input seal. Im a big fan of doing things myself but taking it apart only to find it isnt worth puting it back together or having it leak after I do is not what Im looking for.
