steering shimmy and whole vehicle vibration

As a previous owner of a 4th gen '03 T4R V8 SR5, I never had a problem with any vibration of any sort. Now, I have an '07 (red salsa pearl) and the thing is about to drive me totally insane!!!!! The dealer gave me a new one to try out for a few days, after 5 miles, I wanted to turn around and take it back. They are working very hard to solve the problem, but no luck thus far and they haven't had any one but myself complain of this. Does anyone have any more info that you could give to help me out. This vehicle is the best in functionality, size and gas mileage, and I just don't want to buy a car instead to get the ride that I had in my '03.

Shaking and shimy problems are usually associated with wheel or tire issues, like balancing or alignment. Can also be suspension related.
Try posting this question in the General Disscussion sub forum, since this post is in the 3rd Gen area (1996-2002 vehicles). You may get some more advice there. Good luck.
