Steering Slip Joint?

Hello everyone,

So I'm going to be tackling this body lift install this weekend but have a question.

I've been following the Toyota120 DIY
4Runner Body Lift Installation - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

One of their first steps is:

After the sliders and front bumper was removed the steering slip joint was loosened to allow it to extend outwards when the body is lifted. Only the top nut needs to be loosened.

I'm looking at their picture:

But I can't seem to make out where that I would locate the steering slip joint on the car?

Does anyone know where this is on the car? Would I be able to access it from the engine bay or from inside the cabin, under the steering wheel?

driver side wheel well, pull the rearward splash guard out of the way, stick impact wrench with extension in there and boom
