steering "squeeky" sound

Hey troops,
When I fully turn my steering wheel to either side (driving or steady), it shakes and there's a ''squeeky'' sound, the same kind of sound as if my tire would rub on my frame....
Any idea?

Look inside the wheel wells and see if you can see scrape marks from the tires.
I had the squeak sound and squirted all my front end bushings real good with a soapy water solution (never use WD-40)and the squeak went away (all my bushings are in good shape) next or even first i would check the ball joints and tie rod ends.... mine had a couple of torn boots so i replaced everything last week.
With the shaking your taling about i would definitely check tie rod ends,ball joints and even the spindle bearings

It could be your power steering drive belt. I had the same issue. Have someone turn the wheel all the way over and watch your pump/belt. The pulley should stop for a split second or more and make a wicked squeak/squeal if you have this issue.
The fix is quite easy, just adjust the power steering pump to make the belt tighter. Follow any drive belts guide on here to do it!

I agree with checking your balljoints for torn boots or play. A failure of the balljoint could be a dangerous event for you and any passengers and at the very least cause damage to truck.

The video below is one way @inframousRNR and I checked our balljoints for play. Another way I saw that looks good is jacking up the wheel off the ground and putting a prybar between the lower control arm and balljoint and prying to see any movement.
