stereo sound coming from bridged mono rockford amp

I have a 03 4runner with jbl10 speakers system I hooked up Peripherals SVENR Premium 2-Channel LOC w/ Remote Turn-On to the right rear door speaker, and made sure the amp crossover on the Rockford is set to lp and still some stereo sound comes out of the subwoofer, I also tried with a eclipse amp and stereo comes out any ideas why there is stereo can the loc not convert the signal right or something??? thanks in advance

By stereo sound, do you mean you can still hear more than just bass? Can you still hear words coming from the speaker?

That is normal, unless the amp has an extremely steep crossover, like greater than 48db/octave and is set at something like 40hz. I belive rockford used 12 or 18 db per octave xovers, so you will still hear a bit of music coming from the subwoofer. Lower the crossover point below 60hz and the music will start to disappear.

The good thing about this is you can tune it so that it's outputs only produce low-frequencies. Just swap the positions of the jumpers and your set.
