I was wondering if anyone was thinking about designing a sticker for this forum.. I traded in My 2000 nissan Xterra and was a member of xterraownersclub.com. i guess i am spoiled:)

I bought my 2003 sport edition v8 and i love it.. went to big bend national park in Texas..off roading was superb.....

I will be in HK next week and will look for cool Hilux surf stuff:)...

season greetings everybody!!

welcome ... congrats on the purchase ... hope everything works out well with your new ride

as for stickers, i have no clue ... maybe Thai will have some possible info on that

Hey all,

Actually, sticker is a definite possibility. Our sister site, Hondacr-v.org, does have a sticker, created by GatorGreg. I will talk to him more about it.

Will keep you guys posted.

HI All

thanks TLuuV....

So far i love it..i took it for off roading and got it muddy saturday...
VSC kicked in warning me..:)..heheh but i am driving in mud..so i just ignored it..and went away anyways after i cleared the sticky section...

it behaved much much better then Xterra...much more shure footed...i would like to know though what replacement tires would fit without any rubbing for 2003.... i feel that 31s will be rubbing....

also i will check out the Hondacr-v.org site..if they have a sample on their werb page..i already got the part numbers for the 4runner oil and air filter..and will be buying few extra ones in HK....

i saw the hiluxsurf page..Japanese site..way cool...
but too bad can not read japanese....

But it would be great to have some cool stickers...

Thanks guys...:)

Hilux,

First off, REMEMBER to lock the center differential!! If you lock it, VSC OFF light should be on. You do NOT want to play in the mud while VSC is still active...if you lose traction too much, it will DETHROTTLE you! You would be in deep trouble if VSC cuts power while you're in a mud pit! :(

On my 2002 4runner, the biggest tire I can fit on stock suspension are: (stock size: 265/70/16)

1. 265/75/16, or

2. 275/70/16.

Maybe you can be the guinine pig with your '03 4runner to find the biggest tire! ;)

Thanks.

Hey all,

Sticker-wise, Gatorgreg will have no problem ordering them for us. However, it may take some time...his sticker guy is really slow!

Will keep you guys posted....

Hey guys, here's some pics of the HondaCR-V.org sticker I had made, uses 1" letters and this particular sticker is 18" long just to give you an idea. Like Thai said my sticker guy is a bit slow but he's very good. Actually I shouldn't say he's slow, he's just extremely busy. He can also have them made smaller like the "GoongalaGoonga" sticker above it. For reference, the GoongalaGoonga sticker is 8.5" long and 1.5" high. What I was planning to do was have my sticker guy make the sticker be a simple "www.Toyota-4Runner.org" in the same font as the CR-V sticker, but smaller than the CR-V, maybe a total length of 12". I can have the stickers made in most major colors, but for economies of scale I'd like to have them made all in one color, either silver or white. I can get them for pretty cheap so I would be willing to mail them out for free.

Gatorgreg,

Thanks! Personally, i prefer them smaller than the "Hondacr-v.org" sticker...and i like white.

yes, smaller would be nicer ... but do you think it would be possible to have, rather than stickers, cling-ons (not klingons ... haha)?

too bad i don't have a 4runner now though :p

well thanks for the advice Thai!!:)

as far as the stickers go.....

i prefer the shorter one..

as far as color..himm i guess i can live with white...
to be honest with you i really really liked my xterraownersclub stickers.....

and it was not that expensive..but i dont know howm many active members we have around to come up with something similar like that....
