Stock and Lifted Ride Height

So I've been searching for the look I want to have with my 4runner now for a while. I've found plenty of great pix of some really good lookin 4runners and I thank you all for that however, I see a few people (including me) wondering how their 4runner stacks up with other 4runners as far as ride height whether it be stock or lifted.

Here's the frustrating part, I'll find a great looking runner and check out the sig to find out what lift that particular 4runner has but I soon realize that the sig is newer than the pic and the sig describes the new lift and not the old one or the pic is of an old 4runner.

My question/suggestion - would it be helpfull to 4runner owners to have a thread of 4runner specs along with a pic of said 4runner? This could eliminate a lot of questions about what tire size and what lift and would give a visual example.

For example

Lift - stock
fender height front - x inches
fender height rear - x inches
tire size - 265/70/16

I'll give an example in a minute.

i totally agree, i love looking at old pic threads and see the articulation/ ride height but it seems like no one on here has a sig describing what they have done (i dont on ls1tech either but thats for different reasons

i hope this starts something big and theres alot of replies and pics, I WANNA DETERMINE WHAT LIFT I WANT!!! lol

I see what you are saying but I kinda want to see actual heights that are influenced by the tire. The way I see it, a lot of people are trying to see what the truck will look like with different lift/tire combinations.

So come on, post up your stats! Let's create a database

38" 3/4 front and rear

rides close to stock now, looks great, works great in the snow, and I'm averaging 19mpg, combo freeway, mountain and 4x4

Once again, this isn't all about the lifts, rather a guide to see how a runner looks with different tire/wheel/lift combos be it stock or not

I would like the stock guys to participate too so we can see where the different models start out

2)model info
3)lift - is it stock? If not what lift do you have?
4)tires - tell me what tire you have
5)tire size
6)front and rear measurements from ground to fender

Had the lift for 4 months now, which is another important piece to add due to the settling of the springs.

I love the lift and tires, she's a beast!:bravo:

umm i have 2.5" lift up front but when i turn they touch a lil but they are -12mm offset rims so they stick out enough

Wheel spacers, I had to use 1.25" hubcentric spacers to keep the inside of the 285's from rubbing the upper control arm.

nothing like that, bought the rims for the tires to fit the truck with the right offset, its just basicly built in the rim is all
