Stock rim pressure limit?

I would call that more of a copout than a maximum pressure. E rated tires have a max PSI of 80psi. Only real reason to go past max pressure of most tires is in seating the bead, but I can't imagine any reasonable tire needing more than (or anywhere near) 80 psi.

you underestimate the stupidity of most people.
this was on a heavy duty truck, which people will overload.

also, they do make tires that will take more than 80psi...



my point of that picture was to prove that such a thing existed. as there were a few people saying there were no wheel limits. i knew there were, as i had seen them, but couldn't find anything online to verify it. so when that truck came in, and i saw the wheel, i snapped some pics.

I would put nothing past a lot full size truck owners, especially the ones jacked up to the max with HID's in a regular housing. Usually blasting down the highway with their double row eBay LED light bar on as well. :fear:
