Stock T4R where to start?? what to buy??

I have a 2005 stock T4R and limited money to spend on it but would still like to customize it. Give your opinions on what looks good, what i should do first. Thanks

the 1st thing that poped into my mind was what does he want to do?


so i looked at the options and looks like it will be a city pimped car... since there are no (lift kit, ARB bumper) and stuff like that


as u can tell most people out here are offroad nuts!

so i think it would be better for an adminostrator tomove this to the pimp form on the site... but otherwise i would start out with

Man there are SO many possibilities. It really depends on what you want to accomplish. If you want it to sound really good or if you want a good amount of bass, or even a mixture of the two. It also depends on money too.

Tinting is fairly cheap though. If you match stock your looking at no more than $100 probably. If you want to go darker than stock all the way around then it would probably be about $250 or under.

i'd go with audio/ interior upgrades since you are not worried about the outside just yet. i think the tint is also a good idea.

Exterior Lighting, upgrade to the OEM 06-08 4Runner LED tails, and headlight housings. Then get some HID's! :bigok:

Unfortunately, I don't think that's the case anymore (as evidenced by the replies in this thread). Seems more and more people are looking for deuce-deuce bling-blangs, HID's, limo tints and the only time they see dirt/mud/rain is from a sudden downpour, which is taken care of immediately with some Quik Detailer.

:sobbing:im torn between either

A. getting 15x8 black rims with some cheap knobby tires. hopefully not needing to buy a lift kit.

B. buying projector led headlights

C. getting leds for the inside of my car from www.ledunderbody.com

D. altezza black housed taillights

E. tinting

F. exhaust kit

G. and lastly if i dont get rims, powder coat the stock rims black somehow, and debadge the car.

I'm not sure where you would go to get it done, but I'm almost sure that you would at least have to take it off the car and probably take the rim out of the tire.

You could also just sand them down and then paint them yourself.
