Any thoughts besides clear protection film? Don't want this to happen to the new one.

Fender flares and or different wheel offset so the tires don't protrude outside of the wheel wells.

I have same issues with my black 5th gen and I'm considering flares. I have 3m clear bra on all front leading edges to protect against chips from the front

I added rocksliders with the steel plate, and a little more clear film higher above the existing factory clear film on the fender flare.
Since adding the rocksliders I find very little makes it back there.
