Looks great! I need to go back and look at SeattleMikes build for his TE and then look at Reata's build and do something like this for mine. Your drawers look fantastic

All fingers are intact and thank you all! I'm planning on getting the OME kit since Toyota mentioned that both front shocks of the X-REAS are leaking. . . any other suggestions? Also considering Bilstein 5100's
Nice to hear about the wood shop deal. I use to be a high school woodshop teacher until they decided all kids in LA do not need to learn basic industrial skills like construction, reading simple drawings and auto mechanics. All will be getting a Phd. in English or French. So, they shut down all of those shop classes down. I am not a professional cabinet maker and general contractor with lots of good years left.

Thank you! With my awesome credit, I bought my T4R used and think the previous owner plowed through every speed bump in the shopping strip!
Thanks! As being a novice carpenter, I didn't align the center piece correctly. The left drawer is a bit tight when fully extended which in turn caused the right to have more slack. Since I screwed the mess out of the center to secure it to the top, I didn't want to unscrew it all. Genius at work. I placed the right slides on the bottom to still make it functional.
Straight line . . . I suffer from that as well and that's why I had Lowes cut the wood to my specific measurements,lol. I would attempt to cut my wood if I didn't live in an apartment and had my own garage to house the tools I want.

Looks good. Throw some paint on it and call it a day. Always feels better when you do it yourself. Mine isn't perfect but I feel a sense of accomplishment when I can say I made it on my own and people are impressed.
ON your next one, mount the slides to the drawer, slip it in the sides with the bottom loosely attached, then screw or nail the top on there. It will align each and every time. Kinda doing things backwards but self alignment is the key here. Good job.

Completely agree with the sense of accomplishment! I wish took that welding course in college when I had more time on my hands, so I could build a bumper like yours.

I did take a "woodshop" class in Jr. High, liked it, built stuff.
But the best thing was: "Power Mechanics"...had to dis-assemble and re-assemble both a 2-stroke & 4-Stroke engine and make them run...it was fun. And, the knowledge gained has helped me to this day...gotta keep that mower running & trimmer buzzing.:thumb:
