Storing multi mount winch in a 5th Gen

Just like the title says, I am looking for suggestions on safely sorting a multi mount winch inside the vehicle. Bonus points if you have a creative solution for a limited with third row (not used often).

I am set on a multi mount as I had one in the past and it fits with my lifestyle and needs. Keeping it inside makes sense for my climate and road conditions.

Any advice appreciated.

Thinking outloud....

Thats the last thing you'd want airborne. I think id find a Hardigg/Pelican case that fits it....and then tie that down to all 4 factory tie downs in the rear area.

Don't listen to this guy. Having things airborne just adds excitement to the situation! I wouldn't use a hard case though... takes up too much room. Get you a heavy canvas bag and ratchet strap to two tie downs. Make it tight and it won't go anywhere. This will be the most compact solution.
