Strange buzzing sound from dash under acceleration.....

Just like the topic says guys. Have anyone with a 4th gen ever experienced it before? It sounds like a faint buzzing sound from the right side dashboard (not 100% sure), like something's loose and vibrating. I can't seem to pinpoint where it's comming from yet. It's starting to bug the hell out of me apart from that darn rear seat squeek. :bash: . It only sounds when I accelerate, and goes away when the car is just cruising.

Anybody got any answers? I'd hate to take my car to the stealer for this. Not even sure if it'd be covered under warrantee.

I can't help much on your buzzing, but if repeatable, warrenty should cover the fix. Maybe have a passenger try to help locate the problem while you drive??

On the squeaking back seats, it's usualy just the back seat latches that squeak. I lube mine with white lithium grease and they don't squeak anymore. :

Might be near your glove compartment? Have you had the AC Filter changed lately? Possibley something was left loose?

I had the same buzzing noise during acceleration which I thought was coming from the dash area and it turned out to be the passenger vanity mirror. What I ended up doing was removing the vanity mirror to dis-assemble it and stuff it with low density foam. It appears the wire for the vanity light would vibrate against the vanity housing and stuffing it with foam stops it from vibrating.

I've had an occasional buzz recently. Just pressing on the lower left trim panel seems to fix it.

What does this "Harmonic Vibration" deal sound like I keep reading about??? I thought it occurred when accelerating???

Im experiencing the EXACT same issue : 2021 5th Gen TRD ORP....

Mine is best described as a light, low-volume staticky buzz, maybe like the flutter of a fly's wings against something hard, and only under acceleration from low speeds...

Did you ever figure out exactly what the buzz was, where it came from, and how to fix it?

Windshield seal/clip? Take to dealer, maybe they have a TSB or something.
