Streamlight Flashlight Mounted and Hardwired

I recently got a Streamlight Polystinger flashlight (about $100) for free from a friend and I went ahead and mounted and hardwired it into my center console. This flashlight is super awesome and I'm pumped to have it integrated into my ride now. Let me know what you think.

Very nice! I've been thinking about getting one of those to stick in there. I have an UltraStinger attached to my cargo box (I haven't hardwired it yet though), but I'd like a small one in where yours is too. They are terrific flashlights!

Thanks guys!

I tapped into the cigarette lighter plug from underneath the center console so the light only charges when the car is on. I took the whole console out to gain access to the rear of the inner box so I could use bolts instead of screws as it takes a fair amount of force to insert and remove the flashlight and I didn't want the holes stripping out.

I like that, but I think the light I have is longer than that light. What is that light exactly?

My light is the stinger LED DS. I think it's physically longer than the polystinger, because it doesn't fit in that location. But I like standing it up like that because it doesn't get covered up with other stuff.

Well I have an extra 0.5" top and bottom. What about at an angle? Or if you mount it on the side instead of the back there's an extra 1-2" due to the cavity on the lid. Check it!
