strobes lights

I was asking because I've seen some stobe kits that run the the $100 price range and more. I'm wondering where he got his kit from, and are they comparable in quality with the police kits?

NO WAY. They are not as bright and usually of poor quality.

not sure about you guy's area but in Oklahoma, they have police units that has very bright blue and red LEDs. i could see their lights from miles away. :awais:

yea they have those here too on the new cop cars, bright as hell too. but the ones on my car are pretty damn bright, the pic doesnt really do justice to it.

my whole setup was around $100-$150 for all 4 strobes and the 2 in the headlight strobes

i also bought a control module that i hooked all of them into and ran it through the firewall so i can run it off one switch and alternate patterns and speeds.

here are the strobes in the headlights

here is a seperate control module with a capacitor on the fan guard

then i ran all the wires in a casing through the firewall

the 2 strobes in the dash, i wired through the headliner piping

and here is the control module that i wired all the strobes into, it will let me power on/off, change speed, and 3 different flash patterns.

You screw around with them you will get arrested and impounded. NOTHING good comes of some wannabees putting red and or blue colored lights on their cars, unless you are trying to pose as something you are not.

You arent being cute nor funny nor cool, no matter what you kids think you are. I have arrested people just like you more than once. Just having them (like on your mirror) visible to someone, lit or not, is enough cause for me to stop you. Then when I make you show them to me you get arrested.

well, i kinda agree. if you do have strobes, i would hide it. like the strobe on your headlights that is fine. but then, the strobes on your grill and also on your mirror, police will question you why you have that. the only good reason would be, this is a show car and i perform a light show at every event. but then again, i would hide the strobes or tint my windows as dark as it gets. good luck!

Unless your searching my car or im already pulled over in the broad daylight you cant see them. I dont beleive you would win in a case were you stop me because i had a light in my car that was off. that would be a waste of time and money. Should probably going after criminals and drunk drivers, i didnt do anything wrong so im not sure what id get in trouble for?

yep, my windows are 5% and i do attend gatherings every thursday here called race night, its perfectly legal to have them on while parked, if a cop was a dick he could tell me to shut them off but thats it. ive researched enough about it that i know what/when/and where its legal to use these.

damn dude take off some work and go to a car show, i dont mean the detroit auto show neither. im not sure if you could calm down about it or if youd run around writing everyone tickets, you dont know me or what im into, how the hell do you know that im not at car shows all the time?? ask before you acuse

if you want real lights check out LSH lights

these are the best for your money. same as i have. these are used by LEO's and tow trucks. but please dont be stupid with them, it will hurt people like me who have good intentions for there use on public roads and highways for emergency situations. if for shows and events off road that different.

id do it in a heartbeat if i had the time, id put white strobes in though, because im a teen and im stupid. I think itd be a lot of fun messing with ppl, you could make people get out of your way on the highway, and streets. I think its a sweet idea just dont prefer the amber.

yea that was before i actually got them, now that i have them, when im riding down the road theres a cop every couple of streets so turning them on on public roads would be suicide
