Recently came across a universal turbo for the tacoma. It includes Garrett turbo, BOV, oil pump waste gate, wiring, although it may need a new harness, it includes some tubing but its not all there. It's a universal kit. I believe it will need an FMU, oil lines etc. Seems like a steal considering the full kits run 3-4k.
My only concern is by the time its fabricated to fit and the missing pieces are done right it, I will be into it another 2k for just the parts let alone install. Any thoughts if i should jump on this or If I'm getting in over my head. Thx guys

What kind of power numbers are you wanting out it?

Dude save yourself some money, look up Clownmeat's build on his turbo, you don't have to spend that money on that shit man. That's so much money to just waste when you could build a turbo kit do around 1200 bucks. He did his and has had it on for some time. No sense in spending money when you don't need to.

A few issues with that kit.
*If you have sliders, you will need to rework pipework for the pressurized air return to the engine.
*You need to figure out how to run the fresh air/filter. The Tacoma kit puts the air filter inside the pickup bed side.

I failed to mention he is asking 500.00 for the kit with everything included in the pics. Again more piping will be needed/fabricated, needs an FMU, possibly new wire harness etc. based on the pics is 500 a fair deal? The turbo looks allitle weathered but supposedly works and has no slop.

That turbo looks like its has a wire wheel taken to the outside of it or something. Is your 4runner a 4cylinder? I only see what I think is one exhaust manifold.
