Hey all, I have interco trxus m/t 265 75316's. The question is: what's a good tire pressure to run for pavement use? They're low so I'm gonna put them at 35psi don't know if that's good tho

35psi is a bit high. Your ride will be harsh. Ive got 33/10.50s that I run at 24psi. I get even wear and I don't feel every pebble on the road. what load range rating are they?

The best place to start is with the original Toyota reccomended pressure found on the sticker on the door jamb.

Thanks for the reply. The tires are load range D

Load range D is an 8-ply(or equivalent) tire. Overkill for a light rig like a 4RNR. I would most definitely run them around 24 psi. The ratings on the door jamb are relevant if u are running stock sized tires, which u are not. Next time around choose a load range C (6-ply)tire.

I run 35 psi. I couldn't stand the factory recommendation. It was too squishy. BUT they are load range C. A heavier load range will be stiffer anyway.

Thanks guys, I checked the door jam and it said the pressure for 15inch tires not the 16's that are on it so I wasn't sure. Thanks again for the replies

best way to determine tire pressure is to do a chalk test . running the wrong pressure will kill the life of the tire .
