you dont have your remote wire hooked up. its a super small wire going from the head unit to the amp. (plugs in inbetween the pos and neg wires. ) thats your problem. i think i used 18 ga wire. it dosnt need to be very big wire at all. like some extra speaker wire you have laying around the house.

its just a low voltage signal telling the amp to turn on. BINGO!

You're missing the "remote" wire from your head unit...
-The remote wire sends the amp a small signal to power up only when your stereo is on so your amp isn't on all the time.
You should have run the RCA's and the remote together from the head unit.

12-14.4 Volts is standard for all amp remote triggers. You can use a fused/switched tap into your fusebox if your radio doesn't have a dedicated "Remote" output...

best wire to tap into for "remote turn on" is an accessory wire if your deck doesnt have a "remote turn on" wire. normal accessory wire is red in colour coming off the deck, assuming you have an aftermarket deck, if not, it could be any colour wire. best is to test it make sure you only get 12V when you turn ur key to accessory. good luck
