Looking to install an amp underneath either the driver or passenger seat. I know the RCA and amp power wire need to be apart to prevent noise. I was thinking of running the amp power cable down the door panels from the firewall and RCA's along the center cosole (not sure if there is enough room though). What is the best route to run the amp power cable and RCA?

I ran the wires as you are thinking about doing. Pretty easy, but you need tape the RCA wires to something stiff to feed them from the center console under the carpet and through the pre-cut hole under the seat. I used a hanger with a bunch of electrical tape around the hanger and wires.
If you haven't seen it, somebody posted a link to really good instructions with pics for removing the radio. If you need it and can't find it, I can dig it up when I get home.

This may depend on how big your amp is, but I would recommend putting it under the driver's seat. The power wire routing to the battery would be the shortest and easiest from that location: run the power wire through the big grommet in the firewall and inside the kickpanel, and inside the plastic trough in the door sill. Then route it to the amp from under the carpet.
The RCA's as you said, can be routed right down the center console, totally separate from the power wire. You might have to make slits in the carpet with a Xacto or utility knife where you want the RCA's to come out of the carpet near your amp, or to open up an existing hole. I did that, it's no big deal, you can't see it anyway.
Run your amp's remote turn-on lead either way (center console or behind the dash to meet up with your power wire in the kickpanel area).

I did just as Atomic Punk describes - put the amp under the driver's seat. That big grommet makes life easy. I got a Knuconcepts amp kit that included a turn on wire connected to the RCA's. Made for one less wire to deal with. I don't have much experience with amp kits, but I'm happy with the one that I got. Seems to be of good quality.

I bought my 1000w max amp kit at PepBoys for about $30 or something like that. It didn't include RCA's, but that's what Ebay is for... I gambled that the 4awg power/gnd cable would be flexible enough for my routing, and to my surprise, it was very flexible. I went to the local stereo shop and they wanted about $80 if not more for a 1000w amp kit. My point is, the Pepboys one was just as good for 1/2 the price.
And the RCA's from ebay were a steal too...
