the stem cushion is reusable just like the top plate is. The stem cushion is thick rubber though and the old ones that they took off were flattened a bit.
If you're getting the new top plates, why not get the cushions too? That way it all looks new and fresh.
I'm glad I did. And I wonder if the new cushions make the ride a bit less harsh as well?
