Hi guys! I've got a 2011 TE. Sometime around 8000 miles I started noticing a really stinky sulfur smell just about everytime I hit 55-60 mph for the first time since starting the car. Any ideas what this is? The dealer thinks it's the fuel I'm using but I've tried just about every major brand plus a number of local gas companies with pretty much no difference.
A few things to note:
-I don't have the e-brake on.
-It doesn't matter if I slowly accelerate to 55 or if I get down on it. And it's only the first time I get up to that speed
-Someone suggested it may be something in my catalytic converter. So I'll point out I did take it out and put it in a lot of mud and water. The top of my hood had mud on it... Twas dirty. But sooo fun
-The fact that I noticed it at 8000 miles may be bc that was around the time it got warm enough to ride with the windows down. I got it all muddy around 3000-4000 miles I think.
