Looking for a new set of tires for my wife's 04 v8. Currently we have Cooper AT3s on it currently. While we haven't had any issues with them, I'd like to get a set that's a little more ride and mpg friendly. The vehicle is used primarily as an aggressive looking mini van with 95% of use on road. Other than an occasional farm field or dirt road she is a pavement princess. We do get our share of rain and snow here in MD.
The local tire shop has quoted a good price on the Sumitomo's, but I'm always leery of a good deal and know you often get what you pay for. Online reviews tend to be mostly positive and it looks like they are the parent company of other know tire brands like Falken.
Does anyone have experience with Sumitomos? Anyone have recommendations for my situation?
