sunroof drains?

Hey all.

our 88 dlx has been dry its whole life. this past winter it literally filled the 4 footwells with water. i've never seen so much in 4 distinct places in a car before. i thought it was a combination of the sunroof and windshield.

had the windshield removed and re-seated and they fixed up a bunch of the rust under the seal and re-glued it.

but something is still leaking into the front foot wells. my theory is the water wicked itself up from the front wells to the rear.

if this truck has sunroof drains that could be clogged, where do they exit so i can compressed-air them clear?

i see 4 possible drains coming from the top, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the sunroof.

okay, so as other posts have pointed out, to get the sunroof off, in "tilt" mode you squeeze the two silver arms together until they clear their pivot pins, then tilt the glass up further and it slides out towards the rear.

the four drains all passed water just fine. i cleared them with compressed air just for good measure. They drain out of the seam weld at the bottom of the body on each side where there are little pinched areas where they are meant to drain, about 5 on each side.

now i guess i'll remove the front cowl and see if the fresh air intake is leaking or something?

Could be the heater core leaking? I was going to suggest sunroof as I had the same issue on my 3rd Gen, though it seems you've thoroughly checked that.
