Recently i picked up a parts (head gasket and rusty) 97 limited 4r to swap over some stuff onto my mechanically sound and not rusted but cosmetically mistreated 97 limited 4r.
The good 4r apprently was missing the sunroof relay and had the roof siliconed shut.
The parts 4r had a roof that worked perfect and actually looked like it may have been replaced at skme point given the fresh look of everything and non dried to dust lube.
Swapped over the relay, roof tracks, motor and glass.
It will work to raise the tilt when attempting to open. Then stop, after that point it only clicks.
No luck with the spare switch or motor. Have tried loosening the frame bolts incase of some sort of binding. Have also disconnected battery and discharged.
Any advice?
