sunroof

O.K. need some help here. I bought the 4runner about 3 months ago for my son to drive, great truck and pretty easy to work on. I noticed when you tilt the sunroof there is a black plastic shild that rises up with the back of the sunroof. Here is the problem. Mine has come off and i cannot tell how this piece attaches to the roof/frame. I can see where it should go but maybe it is missing the hardware. Can someone take a picture of theirs and post it so that I can see how this connects? I will try to take paictures of mine if I can with the piece out of the truck. 225,000 miles and going strong.

sorry for the delay, but whenever I've been free its been raining! I just took a quick pic now but it is getting dark, so I'll try again in the morning. Maybe this will give you a good start tho

Thanks for the pic. Is this a picture facing the rear? The part I have off is actually inside between the roof and the liner. Pictures tonight if possible.

Sorry, I thought you meant the piece that pops up like a wind deflector or something at the front, I miss read your original post. The pic was looking at the passenger side attachment point for the deflector.
I'll check mine again for the piece you are talking about.
