So I'm doing the long awaited tune-up and suspension rebuild on my 4Runner. I've got the supercharger off and I noticed that the fitting on the back of the supercharger housing that goes to the "Do not lift here, Factory Adjusted" thingy is full of grease, almost completely clogged. I scraped some out and it's almost like drive line grease or something. I'm really puzzled. Is this normal? And if not, what is grease doing in there?
Also, my supercharge makes a lot of noise. A new nose cone and oil is coming, but my first guess is that the rear needle bearings are shot and somehow grease made in where it is not supposed to go.
Thoughts?
