Hey guys, I had a knock sensor go bad, and decided it was time to go ahead and tune up everything on the truck, since at 220k miles it's due for some love. So I started tearing it down to do timing belt, WP, valve cover gaskets, and obviously replace both knock sensor and the sensor wiring harness. I don't have a service manual or anything, just doing it by common sense since I'm pretty handy with a wrench.
However: I'm having a brain fart that is keeping me from getting the supercharger off.....there is a bolt or fastener that I'm missing. Besides the obvious 4 (two bolts and two nuts on studs) and the bolt with the spacer that attaches to the bracket on the driver side, where else is it bolted down? I have all the hoses, throttle body, and small misc stuff off already. Surely there aren't bolts underneath the blower...how the heck could you get to them?
Thanks for helping me not be dumb.
