is the an auction from the guy I purchased from, he has some contact at TRD I figure, since I told him the year of my truck and got the proper kit. which is -626 for the 04 4runner. And the guy is honest, and was a great ebayer! I give him props.
Its alot different, it seems the tranny cant keep up with the shift points, and on a stretch of hwy I always take, (I slow down to 80km/h and punch it to the end i usually hit 140km/h, now with the charger it hit over 180km/h) So it works pretty good...
From a start, it goes REALLY good... Im happy with my purchase, I have to figure a good way to disable the VSC and TRAC, since If I hit it going around a corner the TRAC kicks on.

So you just brought the unit you got off ebay to your dealer and they had no problem installing it? Thats awesome, I would love to get the supercharger just for kicks but I dont think I can justify spending the money....I wish it was half the price then I would jump all over it

How does it sound? Is it much louder when it is making pressure?
I had a 1997 limited with a supercharger. Just trying to get a feel on how loud it can be or if there is a differance between the two models. (I kinda like the sound it grows on you after awhile)
Would like to get one for my 2003 limited V8.

The SC cost 4000 dollars but the dame Dealers I have to deal with will not allow me to buy from an outside supplier and have them install it, they want me to buy their SC which is identical but they want 6000 dollars and then with labor they want a total of 7500.
I tried to deal with them, I said I would pay them 5500 in cash, no cc so then they get everything and still they said no deal, I even told them where to buy the SC for 4000 dollars and still no deal, I don't understand why they are so anal about the price.
Im now looking into Dealers outside NY cause Im not paying an extra 2500 cause thats how they feel, I should do it myself
