Superflowair MV-50 or MV-90

Gents,

Love to get a few opinions. On the fence about getting a
Superflowair MV-50 vs MV-90.

MV-50
Rated up to a 33... And I'm running 33s. I've seen many reviews on this product.

Obvious Advantages: Smaller for packing. Price.

Disadvantages: My use is apparently on the top end of capabilities. I've seen a few complaints that the 50 can struggle with heating and fuse issues when used at the top end.

MV-90
Rated at up to a 44. Again, I'm only running 33s. I've seen good reviews on this product as well.

Obvious Advantages: Speed. Durability with use (in the long run.)

Disadvantages: Lager footprint (packing). More cash.

Suggestions? I'm ok with the expense on either product. Just want to make sure I get something I'll be happy with in the long run.

Thanks [MENTION=145226]adaml[/MENTION] I've seen this movie... I also have the google. I was hoping to drum up dialog with people who have personal trail experience with the MV-90... even better if they have experience with the MV-50 as well.

The 50 works great. It's a little warm after filling 33's from 18psi to 45 psi all the way around but, no fuse issues at all. Are you in a race after the trail? Filling the tires let's the kids stretch their legs. Found mine on sale at Pep Boys.

No experience with the 90 but I have the 50 myself and it's worked great on the stock Nittos. I air down to about 18 or 20 and air back up to 35. I haven't timed it but my wife doesn't complain while I'm doing it so it must not take too long.

All that being said, I generally think it's never a good idea to operate a piece of equipment near the edge of it's designed envelope of operation. All that being said, I don't know the price of the 90 but it may be worth upgrading to something more serious if you plan on doing this quite a bit.

Those MV-50s have been re-branded a bunch of times over the years. I've had one for 10+ years and it still works fine. Don't remember which brand it is. That said... I would probably buy this for $45 instead of the seemingly identical Masterflow MV-50 for $85.

I ended up with the MV90. Used it a few times already. Great performance. Seemingly well built. Happy with the purchase. Still would like to give the 50 a run... See how they compare. I'll drop a note here if I get a chance.
