Front Suspension
Spent a week in Jamaica recharging and got to come home to a pile of parts in need of some wrenching!
Bought these beauties out of the classified section off of fellow forum member surfmobile. Thanks Tyler! They are Fox Extended Travel 2.5" coilovers.

After putting everything back together, I took her for a test drive to let the suspension settle in. Being a complete coil-over lift noob, I was really just taking a stab as far as height setting goes. Upon driving it, she was wandering all over the road.
As you can see from the first shot, I had them cranked to show about an inch of thread between the upper mount and coil collar. This equated to way too much lift. I dialed them in to my desired height which ended up being about 9/16" of thread.
So the wandering was still bothering me, and the position I had the camber adjustment set at gave me a lot of negative camber. After speaking with my boy Aha2988, I readjusted the camber and also used the LR caster adjustment to add some additional positive caster. Made a huge difference. Went from the "D" position, which I believe to be +2 deg camber @ stock height and 0 deg lifted, to the "B" position which I think is +3.75 deg stock and +1.75 lifted. She tracks much better now. Still need an alignment, but waiting to install the tires sometime within the next week first.

That's all. Exciting... for me anyway. Thanks for looking. Stay tuned for some muuuuuuud tires!!!
