Maybe you should research Isuzu a little more.
I would get a Vehicross just because they are so ugly and rare but still badass. Never noticed how much they look like Hanibal from Silence of the Lambs before.

The Isuzu Rodeo. Was a good suv but since they sold cheap new and lost value quickly most of the owners did not car for them well. As a result most I see as a mechanic need a lot of work. Blown head gaskets, worn out steering and suspension, lack of oil changes and wear due to poor lubrication. New or well cared they are good rigsm and they will run forever. Would not even make my list though, a Nissan Xterra or Frontier with 3.3L would be better imo and I hate those as well. The newer 4.0L Nissan motor is beter but has its iussues as well.

a 2 door 70 series. it seats 7. 3 on the front bench, and it has two side fold out benches in the back that seat two people each. it has a swing out door that also holds the spare tire. and its solid axle front and rear. the 70 series is the goto toyota in the rest of the world, for whatever reason its not sold in the U.S.. it comes in 2 door, four dour, ambulance, flat bed, no bed, you name it.
So Dope.
A late 70's to early 80's Land Cruiser would be rad, as well. I would also take a 4-door Tacoma with a bobbed bed and long travel.

Yes they are. I've seen two here in Norman. One day they were driving beside eachother down a central street and I thought that the likelihood of that being incidental had to be slim to none. You just don't see many of those around.
I'd get down on a diesel Nissan Patrol as well.

I just bought it last weekend. 2007, 93K miles, mint (lady owned -perfect inside and out). I'm doing the timing belt/water pump tomorrow, then another 100K til the next time. I told my wife it's my new off-road vehicle, and for some reason she strongly objected. So, it's my 'grown up' car and my T4R is my 'play in the woods truck'.

I've seen that one. Pretty sweet build. I up-sized the wife's tires and gave her some General AT2s. She loves it. it's an 05 w/ 79k on the clock. Other then the dash cracking(warranty will cover sometime this summer) it's pretty sweet. I love the fancy 4Runner. BUT she's been eyeing 5th gens lately. Not sure how much longer I'll have it
