Supra DOHC V6 swap into 89 4R?

Just another swap question...

Anyone know anything about the DOHC V6 motor that came in late 80's Toyota Supras and Cressidas? They were both RWD. Question I have:

Will that motor fit in a 4R?

If so, will the motor bolt to my stock 5 speed tranny (currently have the 22RE)?

If this has been addressed before I apologize, but I couldn't find any specific answers via searching. Any knowledge would be appreciated!

Psst.. It is not a V-6 it is a I-6 as in inline. You will need the entire wiring harnes, the supra bell housing, and a turbo tranny R151 the G and W series trannies won't hold up very long for it. You will probably have to cut out your front core support and a few firewall mods. There is a guy out there that goes by the name of SUPRARUNNER he even has is own site and a complete detail of the swap. He is better known on some other BB's but I don't think You would last very long there without being offended.

I guess swaps come down to two or three things: Money you are willing and able to spend, and your imagination for two. Anything is possable with enough money and time to throw at it. I saw a Chevy S10 on tv the other day with a Bell jet engine in it! Ya can do whatever you want I guess.

My dream swap: a 7.3 or 6.0 TDI powerstroke deisel with a kicked up turbo and chips stuffed into an FJ40 with Dana 60 axles front and rear and 35's stuffed underneath.

My T4R I want a 3.4 with a supercharger swap. Someday!
