Suspension help needed

I have a 2014 Trail Premium with Stock Suspension

I will be fully outfitting it over the next 6 weeks (build thread to come), for several months travel. This will not be severe/hardcore, but will include for example the Trans America Trail and similar off road trails.

I will be loading it with a gobi rack, ARB fridge, front/rear bumpers, ARB RTT, goose gear storage, warn winch.........just this along is about 800lbs.

Add in top light, front light, work lights, food, clothes, some recovery gear, a fox wing awning, grill, road shower (filled with water of course)......I am guessing I could be at 1200-1500 lbs of load.

I have been trying to learn as much as I can on suspension. I am looking to do a full suspension setup, maybe Icon/King/Total Chaos those seem to be some good brands people discuss here. I am wanting to do UCA as well so I can get good adjustment. I don't know if I need the lower trailing arms? I am guessing for a bit more I should do that, it seems most refer to this as Stage 3, and thats going to be one of the many pills to swallow in this outfitting.

I could use some help in guidance on what setups people seem to have great success with on the 5th gen. given what my requirements are can you all point me to some kits? I would prefer to spend no more than $4k for the hardware (installation will be extra of course) but I am also not going to be stupid and if I need to spend more just let me know if my budget is not realistic. I would prefer a setup that would allow me to goto bigger tires, once again, for the task at hand (seems many run 32-35).....for now i am happy with the trail rims and tires I have on there but will look to change those as needed.

Unless you have already ordered everything and it is in production, 6 weeks may not be doable unless everything is in stock and ready to ship. I gave myself a months buffer and it was still about 6 weeks late for full completed install.

So I assume you have already purchased and waiting for the high lead-time items..front/rear bumpers/Goose-gear, etc and expecting them very soon?

I have only purchased some items, some I will actually have installed while on the road at the manufacturers factory, others I will have to do without until they come in. At a minimum I will have electrical, rack, some lights, fridge, RTT. I would like to have as much as possible of course.
 
I think you're off to a great start calculating all your weights. Talk to the vendors and tell them what you're carrying so they can get you the correct springs.
 
Several months travel and you have to do this all in the next 6 weeks? Installing parts as you go along? Honestly sounds poorly planned and rushed. If you're going to be gone for several months you might want to have things in place before throwing it together last minute.

To answer your question, I would speak with Dobinsons Springs and Suspension. They're an ARB competitor. They have an office in Miami and could probably set you up pretty well. They're also quite active on this forum.

[MENTION=103801]sn_85[/MENTION], I am on no fixed timeline. I leave whenever, I would like to leave in 6 weeks. Getting product installed by the companies that make it I am looking forward to. I have no place I need to be or schedule to adhere to, just wandering the open road and enjoying the trip. Thanks for the reference for the Miami shop, suspension is something I may wish to to do before I leave out and I am not sure if I will try to tackle it myself or have a shop do it. Many on here make it sound like time and tools are really all thats necessary and that its pretty straight forward.
