there are no such lift kits available, don't know where you got the idea of lifting a 4runner from.

Search? Look through the build threads and see what the ones you like the look of use. Think about what you want yours to do (malls, rocks, mud, sand, etc) and research if the kit you're interested in will accomplish that.
Several choices out there. I have a Sonoran Steel 1.2 on mine since '09 and couldn't be happier. Daily driver and playing on moderate trails.
Another common lift is Toytecs. Seriously search for infos, this stuff is common and easy to find lots of opinions on and pics of.

Toytec is probably the best resource for purchasing and they have a wide variety of kits for just about any application.
Im runnning OME 906 coils and a 10mm trim packer with rancho shocks in the rear and toytec/eibach coils with adjustable bilstein 5100s and love the ride. Im getting about 2 1/4 inch lift in the back and 1 3/4 in the front

It kind of talks in "code" within that link, so if you're not hip to the lingo it might be confusing... But just take a peek at that link and it'll at least give you some specific questions to ask in your own thread.
Or take a gander at my signature or the signatures of others on this forum with trucks you like (over in the build threads section, for example).
My 4Runner has "OME 881" (Old Man Emu 2881) springs in the front with Bilstein 4600 (HD, non adjustable) up front. Out back I'm running OME 890 (Old Man Emu 2890) springs and Bilstein 5100 (silver, non adjustable) shocks.
It gave me about a 2.5" lift over my worn out stock suspension and I was running 33"s before I went back to 32"s.

sorry for not being specific, after all the joking smart ass replies I guess I should have said that I live in FL and we don't have any crazy trails just moderate easy stuff in some state parks. Its also my daily driver so she will be on the road a lot. I want to lift a little (3-4' ) for looks and ride comfort. Just want to see what other people like out there as I do see many options when I do searches.

3-4' is a huge lift.:yo:
Your ride comfort will not increase with an aftermarket suspension that's meant to lift your vehicle. That's not how suspension lifts work.
If you want to maintain a comfortable ride you want to keep the factory suspension. Do a body lift and keep your comfortable ride while gaining your height you want to utilize while pounding the pavement.

What's your budget?
Im a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". So that being said what is this project going to cost me to do it rite. I don't need a Ferrari under there but don't want a pos and regret trying to save money. can this be done for $500??? or should I put around a grand in my head. I see stuff out there all over the board.

You are going to have a hard time finding a decent kit for that much money. The Sonoran 1.2 and Toytec lifts are all over $1K

I just purchased OME 881s for the front, OME 906s for the rear, Bilstein 5100s on all fours and a set of trim packers for the rear; and with the strut assembly service that wheeler's offers I still am at right about $800 before shipping. You could do it for $500 if you keep your eyes peeled for used stuff.

What you want is a set of icon coilovers up front with rear icon remote reservoir shocks. They're nice and cheap and will give you up to 12" of lift and soft factory like ride

Here's the thing. You are going to get a lot of people giving you the business because this might be the most covered subject on this forum. So when you ask a question such as yours, and say that you couldn't find much info, it makes it hard to believe that you were looking. Now, maybe you were not looking in the correct place, but there is literally a metric *#@# ton of threads that cover your request ad nauseam. :deadhorse:

You are correct. You get what you pay for. You could piece something decent together for about $500-$600 give or take, or you could spend $5000. So you can imagine that the field of choices are pretty wide and deep.
There are a few "complete" lift systems that you can buy that will run you, but will cover most of the bases. I would HIGHLY suggest looking over Absaloms-Cookie-Cutter-4runner-Builds. There is more to lifting a 4runner than just slapping something on there. Pre-lift maintenance items like updating Lower Ball Joints with OEM parts might be the most important mod you could ever do. Don't do it, and find out the hard way.
