suspension lift question

alright, first time post, been creeping for a while. I have searched and I'm not very automotive mechanically savvy to the point where I can make mechanical decisions. I saw something saying that beyond 3" lift you need an aftermarket UCA. Currently I have a spacer lift and bigger springs with stock X-REAS suspension, My X-REAS is blown out and I want to put bilsteins on. I already puirchased the 5100 series bilsteins and they are height adjustable, should I leave them at stock height or should I up the height on them, If I up the height will I need to buy more parts? thank you in advance.

You can adjust the height on the CO's until you achieve 2.5-3" of lift. The UCA's help when you've reached the point where you can no longer properly align the truck when you've run out of castor adjustment. Basically, the higher you go, the more you loose castor. If you can't bring the castor back to spec the truck will drive twitchy on the road.

If you also have a long travel shock (which you don't in this case) these are also necessary as the factory UCA's will contact the springs on downtravel.

Okay so do I need aftermarket control arms to raise the height on the bilstein?
