Suspension Questions - new owner

I don't think you should be on the top notch. Likely way too much preload. I believe even guys on the 3rd notch are reporting terrible ride quality issues and more lift than they were looking for. You should not be lifting it more than 3" unless you're replacing upper and lower control arms or installing a frame drop kit also.

Love my 906's in the rear, give's a nice lift and is awesome for towing or if you keep a bunch of crap in the back.

99 tall springs or whatever OME springs you want with 5100's in the front.

Not too expensive and you'll have a nice ride/lift.

what are people's thoughts on the OME kits vs the toytec kits? very similar price wise, wondering what the real world difference is

So, I had been doing a bunch of research and had decided that a full spring/ shock lift was going to be too expensive. So I had settled on new shocks and air bags, stock height.

Then a member messages me and has a set of 5100's, 906 rear. And eibach 3" coils ( front ). $425, 10,000miles.

The only thing holding me back is the 3" front lift, but am thinking I couls gst the ONE881 coils to match, and sell the Eibach. Thoughts? Coat will be about the same as new shocks and airbags.

What's wrong with a 3" front lift? Just more than you're looking for? I know you said you didn't want to lift it but the OME 906 shocks in the back are going to sit about 1.5" higher than stock height so you'll have to lift the front to match.

Before buying used, make sure they'll work for you and find out what year truck they came out of.

Yes a 3" lift is much more than I am lucking for - and I dont want to run into any issues with axle and CV angles.

They are on a 2001 3.4L.

With the 906 rear, I was going to get the 881 front coils to match.
