so after receiving my taxes back.. I'm looking into adding new bumpers to my rig..

for the front, I'm looking at Shrockworks (full loop) and the rear an cbi with tire carrier and fuel tank holder..

my question is, with the added weight of the bumpers (92 lbs front and 130lbs without tyre or gas can).. how many inches would i be losing?

I was thinking about replacing my coils with the 99 Highlander Springs. With in 1' of height, would that even out with the bumpers?

another question.. for the guys with the cbi rear bumpers.. How much does it all weight with an 265/75/16's and 2 5 gallons petrol cans? with the tyres and fuel, does it throw off the balance?

Well I had a lift when I did my bumpers but it might give you an idea. With TRD tundra fronts I didnt lose any height with my ARB. With my LC 7 wraps in the rear, I lost under an inch in the rear with the CBI hybrid, 33" tire on a steel wheel, and a hi lift jack.

As far as balance goes, I love the way my CBI settled the rear down. With unweighted LC coils the back end felt very unsettled. It would almost hop side to side over bumps. Once I threw the bumper on it feels much more planted.

The rear I wouldn't see being too bad of an adjustment. If you already have your spare under in the stock location, then that is a wash...and your removing the stock bumper so don't forget to subtract that weight from the overall difference. Same with the front.

I don't think the front would change a lot but if your running the stock rear coils maybe look into the ome 906's. A lot of people like the look with them paired with stock front suspension and they hold extra weight really well without sagging.

gotcha.. I didn't factor in the spare and the bumper weight along with the trailer hitch..

I though about going with the ome's route but they dont have any coil for the 1" option.. but with the 99's springs, I can do 1" all round without the rear higher than the front.

my main goal is looking into adding the rear and front bumpers but keep the height to an minimal. cause mine is an dd and i want less drag driving down the highway.. hell, our rigs are not the greatest when it comes to mpg..

or is the rear always higher with how our weight is balance or suspension set up? is the rear always due to is lighter than the front?

would I have to add an diff drop even with just the 99's coils or it should be safe? cause I seen the build threads of others, the cv's boots are torn or something else happens in the drivelines..
