suspension troubleshooting sequence - 2012 TE KDSS

Getting ready to replace my original shocks (165k on them), with 5100's all 4 corners. I've had some very noticeable rattles and knocks develop, can't figure out where they are coming from. I know one shock is leaking, but it is tight. My question is, if the shock replacement does not fix the knocks / clunks, what is the order of sway bar bushing replacement I should follow? Should i do all frame to sway bar bushings first, end link bushings, front or rear, etc. I visually inspected my whole suspension and bushings and can't see anything that looks worn or find anything that is loose. Just looking for the correct sequence to troubleshoot in so I don't waste $$. Shocks will be first, considering how many miles are on them. Thanks for any suggestions. Also, I'm going with Toyota rubber bushings if replacement is required.
