Im thinking of Getting a ORP instead of a pro just because im not getting enough out of the car im trying to sell and the markup is redic. This is my first 4runner so I know nothing about brands nor stages of suspension etc. I just know a few like king, fox,icon.... Im not going to do any crazy off roading wanting something thats like the pro or a step up that gives the ORP a little lift and even stance. im going to have the dealership put it on so I like to know what exactly I want over asking them what I should get and maybe paying more then I should. Maybe thinking of doing spacers. I like the look but not sure if a lot of crap will be flung over the back fenders? Please dont say do your research this forum isn't broken down like some others where you can find specifics instead of an all in one.

It’s a three step process:

1) Identify requirements.
2) Research.
3) Make decision.

The 4R is very capable in its current form. I have wheeled with a lady that has a stock Pro. She aired down, and went everywhere the rest of the group did. She only lost some paint.

If it’s aesthetics you’re after, you’re only chasing aggravation. The one exception may be the TRD Pro setup installed by a stealership. That’s a whole lot of money to burn for a marginal aesthetic and performance upgrade. Spacers can crack, the shocks may have a noise, and lord forbid the mud skirt doesn’t get securely reattached. That squeak will drive you insanse.

At the end of the day, you need to start poring over the forums and researching. There’s a lot of good to be had from researching these trucks, how they behave, complications with different suspension systems. Does the truck you want have KDSS? Look at some photos, make some friends, ask some pointed questions.

Looks like you are after the appearance more than the performance. So here’s what you can do to make your ORP more aggressive:
1.Bilsteins 5100s all around
2.Get tso pro grille with upper mesh radiator combo(it’s on sale right now)
3.Get some aftermarket rims(you can do TRD Pro rims if you like them)
4.Buy P rated AT tires(you don’t really need 285s,but if look is really important to you ,go for it)
4.Get sliders if you REALLY want your truck to look more “manly”.
That’s my suggestions.
