Swapping Sunroof Shades

I got a replacement sunroof assembly for my 1996. Donor part is out of a 2002. I need to swap the 01-02 Charcoal colored sun shade to my original moon mist colored sun shade. I tried removing the two plastic stoppers held in by the tiny JIS screw at the end of the tracks, but something else still stops the shade from sliding further.

It might be the little plastic handle nub getting stuck on the center cross bar. I swapped my sunroof track a few years back and I think I just pushed it up to clear that cross brace. See pic.
