I've sold a few sets to guys on the FJ Forum. The FJ links are the exact same as 4th and 5th Gen 4runner's. I haven't had anybody on the FJ Forum come back to me with any issues either. Shoot me a PM if you're wanting to place an order.

Yes. The links I make for 4th and 5th Gen's are no longer then stock lengths. Making extended links on the front of 4th and 5th Gen's can cause contact with the CV's. It's stated in the first post that the 4th and 5th Gen fronts are stock replacement only.

You could go about an inch shorter at the most. Anymore then that, and the threaded portions of the heims joints would be hitting each other in the tubes.
