Switching Seats

This question might come off as a little weird. But hear me out. A bear attacked Dane. Yes that is my 4 Runners name. The bear attacked because I effed up and left a sealed bag inside a sealed box of dog biscuits in my truck. The bear opened the door(I am a little impressed with this) and tore apart my driver seat to get to said biscuits. He barely ate the biscuits.

This leads to my question. Can I switch out my drivers seat with my passenger seat until I can get a new seat?

It is a 97.

I am a little green about these things, so forgive me if this is an obvious answer.

You can't do a basic swap from one sided to the other, however you can just swap the bottoms and backs. It's not that hard to do. Just take them both out and put on a table and take apart. Can be done easily.

I don't have pics of me doing it but I will take some tomorrow to show that it was done. :boink: my drivers seat was worn out and the passenger seat was in a lot better shape.

I will be swapping out both seats in a couple of weeks with some seats out of a Toyota Matrix. I'm sure these will have to be modded, and I for sure will do a write up on it.

So don't be afraid to swap them out. If I can do it anyone can.
